Our unique Gezana Eritrean Restaurant is located in the heart of Eindhoven, where we have been offering a special dining experience since July 2017. At Gezana, which also means 'home' in Tigrinya (Eritrean), you can be pampered by the culinary hospitality of Eritrea. The smell of the freshly roasted coffee beans, the traditional (hand) washing ritual before eating, and of course the smell of our delicious herbs create a homely atmosphere, just as if you were visiting an Eritrean family at home.
In the heart of Eindhoven lies our unique Gezana Eritrean Restaurant, where we have been serving extraordinary dining experience since July 2017. At Gezana, which means "home" in Tigrinya (Eritrean), we will spoil you with Eritrea's culinary hospitality. The scent of the freshly roasted coffee beans, the traditional (hand) wash ritual prior to dining, and of course the fragrance of our delicious spices create a homely feeling, as if you are visiting an Eritrean family's home.

Our dishes are authentically seasoned, just like in Eritrea and Ethiopia. All main courses are served with injera, a fluffy sourdough-based pancake. Our injera is made of Teff, Sorghum and whole wheat grain. Gluten-free options are available. Gezana also serves a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We have opened our doors in Eindhoven since July 2017. Gezana means 'home' in Tigrinya (Eritrean). You will notice this by the homely atmosphere at Gezana Eritrean Restaurant. The scent of the freshly roasted coffee beans, the wash basins to wash the guests' hands, the scent of our herbs. The music and furnishings are also like visiting an Eritrean family at home.
